We’re thrilled to have you join us - and hundreds of others from our vibrant camp community - for CampMinder Camp 9 in January. To help you get the most out of our time spent together, let’s get started by helping you plan your schedule.

Once you’ve registered and created your Sched profile, click the ‘Schedule’ link for the complete schedule. To register for a session, click the radio button to the left of the session name that you’d like to register for and you’ll be added to the list of attendees. Once you’ve selected all your sessions, navigate over your profile picture and click ‘My Sched’ to see your personalized schedule. Feel free to share with your friends or print it out to take with you!

Director of the Masters in Camp Administration and Leadership Master’s of Education
Dave “Professor Dave” Malter, MA, is the Director of the Masters in Camp Administration and Leadership Master’s of Education programs at Gratz College and a frequent speaker at camp conferences. Dave has been involved with camps and youth development for over thirty years as a camper, counselor, administrator and consultant. Dave grew up at Camp Discovery in New York where he spent eight summers as a camper and seven summers working with special needs campers. He went on to become the “Director of Fun” at Meadowbrook Country Day Camp and after several years joined the American Camp Association’s New York professional office working on educational initiatives.

When he graduated from his Tri-State position, Dave joined Pine Grove Day Camp in New Jersey as the Assistant Director. In addition to his work with camps, Dave is a professor at Temple University’s Fox School of Business. His passions are deeply rooted in providing innovative educational content and opportunities for youth leaders at all levels. Dave is currently pursuing his Doctoral Degree in Education at the Jewish Theological Seminary with a focus on Professional Development at Camps.
